New Material Information Requirements – England and Wales
The 2017 National Trading Standard Consumer Harm Report notes that there were a number of high profile rulings by the Advertising Standards Authority against estate agency businesses. As a result, what is now the National Trading Standards Estate and Lettings Agent Team (NTSELAT), worked to develop guidance for the industry including, but not limited to, ‘ambiguous listing descriptions’.
