Dealing with abandonment in Wales

Last month we considered abandonment in England and that there is no lawful process to deal with it. In this article we will look at how we can now deal with a case of abandonment by the contract-holder in Wales. Until the 1st December 2022, as in England, there was no abandonment process in Wales. This all changed with the coming into force of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 (the Act).
