It is hugely frustrating when the tenancy ends to carry out the checkout inspection only to find that the tenant has left belongings behind. This would only tend to happen in a minority of cases. It is most likely to occur when the tenant has been evicted and may be moving into smaller temporary accommodation or the tenant has ended the tenancy and left the country unable to fit all their belongings into the suitcase or the car.
