Right to Rent update – It’s here to stay………..for the time being anyway.

The High Court ruled in March 2019 that Right to Rent, which was introduced in England by the Immigration Act 2016, was against the European Convention of Human Rights. Rather than risk a criminal conviction for renting to someone living in the UK illegally, some landlords were choosing to rent only to people with British passports.
