Senior Membership Administrator and Audit Co-ordinator – Salary starting at £26,000 (Plus Bonus)

About the role

The UK Association of Lettings Agents (UKALA) Member Services team is a vital component of a growing trade association providing professional support for letting and property management agents.
As Senior Membership Administrator and Audit Co-ordinator you will be part of a small dynamic team, while also helping field enquiries from our members and prospective members in a multi-channel environment (phone, email, online, and written) with queries regarding all matters related to member services and benefits. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the membership audits.

 

About the team

The Membership Administrator/s and Audit Co-ordinator is responsible for answering calls, administrating memberships, and performing audits while ensuring members feel valued and encouraged to renew. The successful candidate will also help Implement operational procedures within the Member Services team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging person to work on a busy frontline team where we provide a professional, efficient service to members and non-members alike. You will need to demonstrate excellent telephone skills, have a positive encouraging attitude, and be well organised with attention to detail.

Main responsibilities

• Report to our Member Services Manager.
• To ensure the smooth running of day-to-day auditing operations.
• Monitor and update membership renewal figures and records.
• To ensure that the membership database and individual records are managed to a secure and high standard: accurately inputting/ processing member details and regularly cleansing of data.
• To liaise with the Head of Operations and Compliance for high-risk applications or issues with membership compliance
• To actively pursue ‘warm’ leads and convert into UKALA members.
• To actively chase renewal documents for current members.
• To produce and send members literature, invoices, and renewal documents in a timely manner.
• To respond to member queries through all current channels: phone, email, ‘inboxes’, and answer-phone.
• To be helpful to those with queries and provide solutions to members.

 

Key skills and experience required

• Experience of dealing with the public.
• Experience with CMPi (Client Money Protection insurance).
• Experience working in a high-pressure result-driven environment.
• Be able to demonstrate good listening skills and show resilience.
• Excellent telephone communication skills, ability to build rapport and show keenness to help others.
• Flexible, with the ability to work successfully both on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and / or similar packages, and able to work with and adapt to new technologies.
• Proactive, efficient, professional, and excellent attention to detail.
